All systems are computer based hardware with industry standard POS and OPOS devices including touch screens, receipt printers, pole displays, cash drawers and bar code scanners. Network experience on TCP/IP standards and workgroups strongly recommended.
Position requires travel through the entire New England area from northern Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Mass, Rhode Island and New Jersey.

The qualities that we seek in an individual are:
•        Ability to learn new software quickly on the job and on your own.
•        Must be flexible and able to work late hours on occasion. Weekends may be required on occasion but not on a regular basis. Because we deal with both Retail and Hospitality establishments, hours of support are variable and may extend into the evening.
•        Willingness to travel throughout New England to client sites for installation and troubleshooting. Mileage is paid to client sites but you must furnish your own vehicle
•        Outgoing personality and ability to communicate well with customers on a training basis when installing a new system or using Remote support technologies over the internet.
•        MUST be able to remain calm under pressure or when on a deadline.

What is not required.
•        Formalized Education, degree or Certifications (Although it would be nice if you were able to learn quickly and pass the POS software certification tests after starting.)

We are looking for team members who work well with others, can take direction and offer leadership at the same time. Customer training skills are an important part of this job. Many new customers need guidance at the base level before they are able to understand the system.
